It is a new novelty drug with a strong stimulant effect. 4-CAB also known as 4-chloro-a-ethylphenethylamine belongs to the phenethylamine family of drugs. 4-CAB has a molar mass of 183.68 g/mol, chemical formula is C10H14ClN, systematic chemical name is 1-(4-chlorophenyl)butan-2-amine. The closest analogue for 4-CAB is para-chloroamphetamine or PCA. In comparison to other drugs from phenethylamine class, 4-CAB has a less inhibiting effect on serotonin.
